Bgaming Blackjack SurrenderBy Alex Gambler.

Slot and blackjack catalogs of online casinos are so rich and diversified thanks to the work of professional casino providers. These companies do their best to invent new features, make their libraries packed with different themes, and always guarantee the software to be RNG-tested and fair.

Some of these developers are working directly from Eastern Europe, providing the delivered software worldwide. You can learn about them and find their games at Casinority. It’s a large project fully dedicated to casino entertainment, so it’s a place where you can both learn about different casino games thanks to the reviews of experts such as Alex Gambler and play them for free. For example, users can open this link and play free blackjack for fun like Blackjack Surrender by BGaming. Also we highly recommend reading how to count cards in blackjack on this site.

Let’s learn about Eastern Europe providers and their games!

Eastern Europe Countries & Gambling Providers

Here come several areas in Eastern Europe, which are the most outstanding in terms of the development of casino games. Here you can learn more about these regulations, companies, and their games.

Ukraine

Though in 2009, the gambling firms were banned, things changed in the summer of 2020 when the industry was legalized, providing more space for operators, providers, and players. However, even when gamblers couldn’t play the games in the country, some brands were still operating here, working on software development for other countries.

As for the small companies, which work on different gambling solutions, they are companies like FGFactory. This company works on cross-platform development, concept art, and more.

And when it comes to providers who have their offices in Ukraine, here they are.

Booongo is a famous provider with one of its offices in Ukraine. This provider started working on casino solutions in 2015 and the catalog has nearly 100 games, including famous slots like Sun of Egypt 3, Black Wolf, 15 Dragon Pearls, Book of Wizard Double Chance, and more.

And the other provider that has its office in Lviv is EvoPlay. Its portfolio of 160+ games features famous slots and blackjack games like blackjack: Lucky Sevens, Temple of Dead slot, Goblin Run slot, Fruitburst slot, Juicy Gems slot, and more. Casinority is an approved Evoplay partner1)Evoplay is an award-winning iGaming development studio and provider with a portfolio of 100+ titles. .

Georgia

Here, gambling has been legal for years, which makes the market open, transparent, and friendly to new iGaming solutions. The industry keeps on growing as the turnover in 2019 was 200 times bigger than in 2009.

The most outstanding gambling provider in this area is SmartsoftGaming. It was established in 2015 and its library has 60+ games with different interesting options. Players can try out slots like JetX, Balloon, Cappadocia, Cricket X, Cowboy, Lucky Seven, and Magic Garden 40.

These games usually feature several different bonus buy options. And some of these games are designed for cryptocurrency players, for example, the JetX slot.

Other Countries and Providers

Among the other developers working in this area, you can meet companies like Igrosoft and Belatra. These companies mainly produce similar old-school games like Lucky Drink, Keks, Crazy Monkey, Island, and Pirate. These companies don’t deliver a lot of new games for now, so they are mainly providing these old slots.

Advantages of Easter Europe Providers

The teams who are working from these countries mainly create small companies where the games have their own style and new features. Perhaps, they are not large iGaming giants. However, they can open several offices in different areas, receive new licenses, and cover more jurisdictions. This makes these catalogs packed with interesting and feature-rich games.

These providers are equally partnering with all top operators, which makes the games well-known and widely acceptable. And many of them are packed with bonuses from casino operators you can choose to play the following slots.

Summary

Gambling providers are doing their best in many areas, and Eastern Europe isn’t an exception. Here, many skillful developers open local offices and make sure that gamblers worldwide receive perfect solutions and games to entertain and retain visitors. Games like Food Feast, Forgotten Fable, Temple of Dead, and blackjack surrender are extremely popular, entertaining users all over the globe.

Players can access these slots and blackjack games for free at Casinority pages, and the demo mode is available to let everyone experience the features the providers have prepared. And if you plan to play these games for money, you can count on bonuses from operators, including welcome packages, free spins, and more.

So the gambling market in Eastern Europe is popular and quickly growing!

A Guide to Setting Up the Perfect Blackjack Space

Live Online BlackjackBy James Daniels.

Playing games online is now more widespread than ever and alongside all the match 3 games, or guessing the latest five-letter word, one of the biggest trends is playing online casino games. One of the reasons for this is that the advance in technology means that the games available are packed with special features and in many cases can feel like the player is almost at the casino themselves.

This is because there are several “live casino” options available to players, where instead of playing with an AI1)Artificial Intelligence (AI) is intelligence demonstrated by computer based machines.   Although machines can often be programmed to mimic human behavior, the field of AI refers to systems that can perceive their environment and take actions that maximize their chance of achieving a goal. version, they are playing with a real dealer or croupier via a video feed; and what is unfolding in front of them is actually happening and not the result of a random number generator. While both alternatives are typically legit, many players opt for the “real” experience, and rather than just playing on the bus to work, want to create the perfect place to play. Here is a guide on how to set up the perfect space for playing blackjack.

1. The area needs to be free from distractions

To make the most of the experience, the perfect place will need to be out of the way – preferably with a door that can shut out any distractions. Players don’t want to be sat in a location that is the main thoroughfare of the house, or in the kitchen where they will be disturbed every time somebody walks by or wants a snack.

For this reason, playing blackjack on a site such as 32Red online live casino is probably better done in a spare room, or from one of those home or garden offices that are being used less often now that remote working is not as popular as it once was.  A headset can also be used to block out any other distractions.

2. Pick the color scheme carefully

The color scheme will be important, but also highly individual. Some people focus more effectively when surrounded by calming colors, whereas others are stimulated by bright and garish colors that would have others reaching for the headache tablets. The advantage here is that paint color is easily changeable, and if a player finds that orange isn’t conducive to clear thinking, then it’s easy to change it.

While color is also important to furnishings as well, this is one area where style can be sacrificed for comfort – especially if it allows players to relax more (also remember they can’t usually see what they are sitting on).

3. Don’t forget snacks and drinks

No playing areas would be complete without a small (or a large) fridge filled with the player’s choice of drinks, along with snacks – either sat alongside them or in a basket sat on top. This not only removes the need for players to break their concentration and venture to the kitchen and all its other distractions, but also avoids any of the brain fog that accompanies leaving it too long between snack breaks.

Of course, staring at the screen too long does nobody any good, so taking a break for a drink or a snack every so often allows players to keep track of how long they have been playing, meaning they can manage their time more responsibly.

4. Have those basic strategy cards handy

Although you should have memorized blackjack basic strategy by now, it can be a good idea to have the cards or charts readily available.  Just in case you need to make a quick glance to refresh your memory.

Poker Versus Blackjack – Popularity In 2022

Poker Vs BlackjackBy Cirillo Ambrosi.

Blackjack and poker are the most popular casino card games. Casino players mostly prefer them for their easy rules, exciting nature, and the fact that you can use the right strategies to increase your chances of winning.  They don’t depend on luck entirely.

Both poker and blackjack are fantastic casino card games. However, they don’t have many similarities beyond their visual resemblance. Like all card games, they both require a mix of skill and some luck. Keep reading this poker vs. blackjack article to learn more about the games and why they are so popular.

Poker Rules for Beginners

Most online casinos offer a variety of poker games. They include Omaha, Texas Hold’em, Oasis, lowball, and Caribbean poker. These poker variations have one main goal: to collect the biggest combination of cards that let you win a wager.

Texas Hold’em is the most popular poker game. It is simple to play, polished and balanced, so even the most inexperienced players can win.

The entire game happens in four stages. Each one is followed by the issuance of cards after the trading circle. When playing Texas Hold’em, your primary role is collecting the most profitable combinations.

What is the best site to play online poker? Read this Betonline poker review to learn more. The site has a long list of poker games and tournaments. It also features a variety of bonuses for both newbies and regular players.

Blackjack Rules for Beginners

You need 52 cards with cards from six decks1)Casinos can offer blackjack in many forms including the number of decks:  Typically single deck, double deck, six decks or eight decks. to play classic blackjack. Three hundred and twelve cards make card counting even more difficult. Every card holds four suits. In classic blackjack, suits don’t really matter. You don’t need to consider them when playing.

Even for new players, counting blackjack points is pretty easy. At face value, all cards are equal to ten points. Other cards match their numbers. Depending on the casino rules, ace (A) may be worth 11 or 1 point.

At the table, cards will be dealt to players first. When they have all played their turns, the dealer will pick their own cards. You only get blackjack when the value of your cards (on the first two cards) adds up to 21 points.  Check out the blackjack rules section of this web site for more information.

Accessibility

Both blackjack and poker are reasonably accessible. They both require a level of skill, but poker is considered more skill-based than blackjack. If you are a beginner, blackjack is more accessible than poker. You can win even without much experience.

Poker is perfect for professionals and skilled players. It is perfect for players who are willing and able to employ complex strategies. In addition to card counting, poker players also need to memorize a basic strategy.

However, this doesn’t mean that you must always be the best player at the table. If you understand the game, your chances of winning are always decent.

If you plan on building a long-term career, poker is better than blackjack. Blackjack changes fast and is only suitable for short-term careers. Since it mostly relies on luck, you can be great today and fail terribly on the next day. Even though blackjack has better odds than poker, you won’t necessarily make more money from it.

Poker is ideal if you are looking to build your career. However, you need to invest a lot of time and effort into research. What’s more, you need to choose a good poker site if you wish to play online.

Comparing the Odds

Odds are the measure of probability for a certain outcome. Understanding the odds of blackjack vs. poker could help you understand their popularity.

Poker Odds

Unlike most casino games, poker lets you play against other players rather than the house. The other players will be at the same table. The element of luck determines whether you play at a table with weaker players. Your chances of winning may be limited if you land on a table with experienced players.

If you have some experience, the odds in poker give you an edge since you won’t be playing against the house. The casino only takes a rake or a small percentage of the pot.

Blackjack Odds

With blackjack, the odds are slightly different. You will be playing against the house rather than other players. Since the house always wins (as they say), blackjack games are designed to make profits for the casino. Blackjack games have some of the lowest house edges.

Blackjack Vs. Poker Odds

While gambling is fun on its own, making profits is the icing on the cake. Making money from your favorite games can be very rewarding. When a game has fair odds, your chances of making profits are higher.

In most cases, blackjack has better odds. While you can make lots of money from poker as well, blackjack ticks all the critical boxes. First, you will be playing against the house. With poker, you may play in a table with experienced and skilled poker players. If your opponents are strategic, your chances of winning reduce significantly.

The house is a lot more predictable than human players. Its statistical edge can often be less than one percent. Because of this predictability, you can calculate how much you stand to lose within a specified period. You cannot say the same for poker.

Poker doesn’t give you much control over the house edge. Counting or memorizing cards may be possible, but it is not easy. In addition, it offers no guarantee that you will win. However, in blackjack, you are only playing against the dealer.

That is the only person you need to worry about at the table. The dealer follows pre-determined actions and their moves are limited. Blackjack games are often predictable and easy to exploit for more profits.

The Skill Factor

Skill is another factor when comparing blackjack and poker. With blackjack, you don’t need much skill to win. The house inherently has an advantage over you and you will mostly rely on luck to overcome it. However, you benefit from learning the correct blackjack basic strategy which will increase your odds in the game and give you the best chances of a win.

Poker is mainly influenced by skill. Your decisions directly affect your success in the long run. However, this doesn’t mean that luck isn’t important. Anyone can play and win at poker tournaments. However, the most skilled and experienced players generally have better chances of winning in the long run.

5 Top Strategies for Winning at Blackjack

BlackjackBy Jonathan Roob.

Introduction.

Blackjack is a casino banking game where the players have a target to acquire cards with a face value of 21 and no more. Busting, which refers to going over 21, leads to an automatic loss. It is one of the most popular casino card games in Las Vegas. Unlike most games, players at a blackjack table do not play against each other, but against the dealer.

The blackjack table typically sits 2-6, with the dealer standing across the players. The dealer uses one to eight 52-card decks. The no deposit casino bonus Canada platforms offer players a wider selection of blackjack tables.

The basic rules to playing blackjack are as follows:

  • After placing their bets, the players are dealt 2 cards face-up while the dealer receives 2 cards, one face-up and one face-down.
  • From the left of the dealer, players are given a chance to draw more cards by either calling out ‘Hit’ to get an extra card or ‘Stand’ to decline extra cards. The player’s aim is to get as many cards as possible without exceeding 21.
  • Jacks, Kings, and Queens count as 10. Ace value is 11 (Soft hand) but is reduced to 1 (Hard hand) if the player is about to bust. All other cards are carried at their face value.
  • If the dealer’s hand exceeds 21, all players who did not bust win immediately, they win back the amount wagered plus a matching amount from the dealer’s bank.
  • A perfect hand is a combination of an ace with a 10, Jack, Queen or King on the first 2 cards.  This is called a ‘blackjack’ or a ‘natural’.

There are a few other options open to a player using the no deposit casino bonus Canada platform. They include:

  • Double Down – after the first two cards, the players can double their bet, receive only one extra card and not hit again.
  • Splitting – If the player believes that another card will pair with what he’s holding and improve his chances, he is allowed to split the cards. The signal for this is placing the extra chips beside the original bet outside the betting box while pointing with one finger.
  • Surrender – After receiving the first two cards, the player is allowed to forfeit half his wager and end the hand immediately. Surrendering ensures that the player does not lose his entire bet. There are some situations where surrender is advisable.
  • Insurance – if the dealer’s up-facing card is an Ace, the player can make a side bet insuring himself if the dealer has a blackjack. If the dealer has a blackjack, you lose on your original wager and insurance pays 2 to 1.

The following are some of the best blackjack strategies guaranteed to increase your chances of winning:

1.   Always Split Aces

Starting off with a value of 12 leaves you with an option of 9 only to hit 21. Once Aces are split, one can hit 21 by being dealt a King, Queen, Jack, or 10.

2.   Do not split a pair of 5’s or 10’s

A pair of 5’s gives a 10 bringing the player closer to 18 -21 with a hit while two 10’s will bring you as close as possible to the goal of 21.

3.   Double down on 10 if the dealer’s up-facing card is 9 or less

The player holds the advantage if he holds a two card 10 against the dealer’s up-facing card of 9 or less.

4.   Hit a Hard 12 against a dealer’s 2 or 3 up-facing card

At the risk of busting, the player should hit a Hard 12 to avoid losing more money in the long run by standing.

5.   Never make the Insurance Bet

The insurance pay-off is less than the odds of the dealer having a blackjack.  If you are dealt a blackjack and the dealer offers you even money, simply decline.

Conclusion

Ensure you are well acquainted with the plays allowed on different online platforms. Platforms offer you 100% free casino bonuses to give players the chance to understand the basics of blackjack before making the initial deposit.  For more information, be sure to review the complete blackjack basic strategy on this site.

4 Blackjack Myths Busted

Myths Vs FactsBy Dan Cormac.

When you’re looking to get into something new, you’re going to have many preconceptions that color your initial impression of it. Some of these might be positive, some of these perceptions might be the reason that you wanted to try this new activity in the first place. However, sometimes what you hear is simply a myth, and holds no bearing on the fact of the matter itself.

Blackjack is a game that is popular among many different groups of people and in popular culture, meaning that you might have heard more about it than you’ve played it, so it’s worth busting some of these potential myths before you dive in.

Myth 1: You Can’t Risk Going Over 21

When you have a game as widely played and as simple as blackjack, there will be variations in how people apply the rules. In certain situations, a certain group might not have immediate access to something like the internet, which can correct them on the ‘right way’ to play, so these variations continue. However, if you’re planning on playing through official outlets, it’s well worth knowing what the actual rules are.

Knowing whether or not you can afford to go over 21 is crucial knowledge to have, as it alters the aim of the game. Rather than feeling as though you have wiggle-room when you decide to hit rather than stand, the real rules require you to adopt a much more cautious approach – with a risky hit being a bigger decision to make.  Remember, the goal of the game is to beat the dealer.

Myth 2: You Can Only Play in Land Based Casinos

You can play blackjack wherever you want as long as you’ve got a pack of cards, but you might have thought that to engage with this game in a somewhat official capacity, you’d have to seek out a physical venue. This might be an image that has been cultivated by seeing the game be played in movies such as in the 007 franchise, where the glamor of the casino comes above all else.

Fortunately, if it’s the pure essence of the game that you’re interested in, you have another option. Being as popular a game as blackjack is, many of the best online gambling sites will allow you to access it, meaning you can create the best environment for you while you play.

Myth 3: It is Always Wise to Take “Even Money”

Even money is offered by the dealer whenever the player has a blackjack hand and the dealer has an ace as an up-card.  If the player agrees to “even money”, the dealer will pay the amount of the wager before checking his hole-card.  Essentially, this is the same thing as the player insuring his blackjack.  The smart basic strategy player should “never” take even money, unless you want to give the casino an added advantage.

Myth 4: You Need to Have Prior Experience

Blackjack is a game that has so much history behind it, and such a large player-base, that it can feel as though wading into it as a new player is a hopeless cause due to the impression that you’ll have no way of matching the skill of longer-time players. Well, while that should never deter you from getting into something new, here you have an extra advantage. While there is certainly an element of strategy in this game, there is a very large element of luck, making it easier for new players to jump in.

However, to be serious about the game and to reduce the casino advantage you should learn and memorize blackjack basic strategy.

Getting Started

With the truth straightened out, and myths dispelled, you might find yourself in a much stronger position if you’re looking to jump into this game. Of course, you might still not yet feel confident enough to take it to a more professional level, but you can always get started with a deck of cards and some friends – which might help you to first appreciate the fun that this game can offer before you test your metal elsewhere.

5 Tips You Need To Know On Winning In Blackjack

By Ruchi Patil.

Like any card game, blackjack definitely requires some luck as well being in the right place at the right time.  But blackjack is a lot more simpler to learn and excel at than more complex games like poker. The latter requires plenty of training, experience and strategizing. It can take years of practice to become a high-level player in poker, but it’s not the case with blackjack.1)Unless, of course, you take winning at blackjack more seriously and learn how to count cards and use other advantage play techniques.

Playing Blackjack

In poker, you’re trying to beat numerous opponents in any given game. In blackjack, it’s simply you versus the dealer. The goal is to get as close to the number of 21 without going over, however, in reality it is simply to beat the dealer. The dealer will give each blackjack player two cards face up.2)In some single and double deck games the player’s cards are dealt face down.  The dealer’s first card is face up and their second one is face down.

In standard games, blackjack uses a 52-card deck and the face cards are worth 10 points. For each turn, you can decide if you want to be “hit” (the dealer gives you another card), or “stand” (you don’t take an extra card).  Of course, there are other options you can take advantage of depending on the cards you have.

Online and mobile sports betting have launched in several U.S. states since 2018. The game of blackjack is extremely popular across the U.S., including in the Michigan online casinos industry.

Let’s now take a dive into five tips that will help you maximize your chances of winning.

  1. Splitting Aces and Eights

Ask just about any experienced blackjack player and they’ll suggest that you almost always split the aces and eights.

If you have a pair of cards that carry the same number (7s, 10s, etc.), you’re allowed to “split” them into separate hands. So if you are to get a pair of Aces (a value of two) or a pair of eights (value of 16), the smart bet is to always split.

The reason you should split aces is simple: You already have two points guaranteed and your odds of gaining a card with a value of 10 is high, meaning you could get as close to 21 as possible.

Splitting eights is widely encouraged because a hand of 16 is simply too high. If you keep the 16 and don’t split the eights, the odds are very likely that you’re going to end up with a number of over 16. You would need an ace, two, three, four or five just to win.

  1. Staying Laser-Focused

Casinos in many places all over the world will offer you free alcoholic beverages throughout the night. While this may come across as luxurious, casinos often do this because they know free beverages will likely keep you around longer, hence they have higher odds of taking in more of your money.

When it comes to blackjack, it’s important to keep a strong focus. If you’ve had a few drinks and if you’re fatigued and/or distracted you’re obviously less likely to stay concentrated in blackjack.

That means you’re more likely to commit more mistakes at the table, thus greatly decreasing your chances of winning. Staying alert, energized and focused will always help your chances of winning.  How do you know if you are making mistakes?  Anytime you don’t follow the basic strategy of the game you are making a mistake and giving the house an additional edge over you.

  1. Sit At Third Base

The “first base” spot in blackjack is the term for the player who sits at the far left side of the table, from the dealer’s perspective. The player at first base will draw their cards and play their hand first.

“Third base” is the position for the player at the far right side of the table and they’ll act on their hand last.  Do you have a small advantage to sitting at third as opposed to first?  Well, if you are counting cards, you will have a chance to see more cards and give yourself extra time to strategize.

  1. Don’t Split Tens Or Fives

If you draw two cards with values of 10 apiece, you’re already at 20. In this instance, you’ve got to play by the percentages. Just stand pat!

A pair of fives will leave you with 10. That’s a nice starting point, and again, you need to like your chances of drawing a card with a high value. Even if your third card is a small value (let’s say four or lower), the odds are decent enough that you’d draw a seven or less to get close to 21.

Your greatest advantages in this game are knowing when to split and double.

  1. Don’t Push Your Luck

Again, every card game and casino-related game will involve some luck. Even if you’re on a winning streak, it’s important to remember to quit while you’re ahead.

For instance, you might be on a roll where you’ve won eight out of ten games. And maybe in several of those games, you were fortunate to have received one of the two or three cards you needed most.

Keep in mind that luck is always bound to balance out. Just because you got lucky far more often than not in the early rounds, it doesn’t mean it’s going to stay that way throughout the night.

It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement and feel like you need to keep maximizing your win totals. But at some point, you need to play the odds and accept that your momentum isn’t going to last all night.

11 Surprising Facts About Blackjack That You Didn’t Know

By Jeremy Smith.

Interesting Blackjack Facts

Blackjack is one of the oldest and most popular card and casino games on the planet. It is straightforward to learn and understand but incredibly tricky to master. It is also one of the few card games where your decisions are almost as important as luck.

If you love blackjack or want to know more about all the blackjack variations, here are 11 facts about one of the most famous card games of all time.

Shuffling Cards

Origins

There are two theories surrounding the origins of the game. Some believe the Romans played a version of blackjack. However, they used wooden blocks with numbers painted on them instead of cards.

The more likely theory is that it began in the 1700s in France, with a game known as Vingt-et-Un, or 21. This game was also a variation on a more popular game at the time, Chermin de Fer.  For more information on the history of blackjack check out BlackjackHistory.com.

You Can Make a Living

Blackjack is one of the few card games where you can make an actual living. This is due to multiple reasons, such as solid betting and playing strategies, the house edge, and the odds of winning hands.

While it isn’t recommended unless you can afford to lose money, blackjack is one of the best games to play if you want to give yourself the best chance of winning money.

House Edge

The house edge, or the default advantage a casino will have in a game, is less than 1% in blackjack. Considering some games can have a house edge of up to 15%, it is no wonder why blackjack is so popular.

Card Counting

You can “count cards” in blackjack, a strategy that helps you figure out what cards are left in a deck and which card is most likely to be dealt next. Card counting is also reasonably easy to learn, and there have even been several movies about it.

Lot of Cards

The Point of the Game

Many believe the point of blackjack is to get 21 or as close to it as you can every single hand. While this is obviously part of it, you are playing against the dealer and therefore trying to beat them. While you want to get 21, your real goal should be beating the dealer.

Popularity

In almost every gambling country, blackjack is the most popular table game. It has better odds than roulette, it is easier to play and understand than Craps or Poker, and you don’t need much, if any, experience to be successful at it.

Best Blackjack Strategy

Considering how simple the game is, having a winning strategy is actually a bit harder than you might think. However, back in 1953, four soldiers sat down to play a few hands of poker and decided instead to play blackjack.

What set these soldiers apart was the fact they all held Master’s degrees in mathematics and set out to find out the optimal strategy for playing blackjack. They published their paper, “The Optimum Strategy for Blackjack,” two years later.

Chances of Dealer Bust

Surprisingly, there is a very high chance of the dealer going bust every single hand. Unlike most other games where the dealer will always have an advantage, the dealer loses (by going over 21) almost a third of the time in blackjack.

Cards in Hand

The Worst Hand

There is a “death hand” of sorts in blackjack. Much like how you don’t want to be dealt 7 and 2 in poker, you don’t want 16 in blackjack. This is because 16 is too high to “hit,” as the majority of the deck will bust your hand, but 16 is also often too low.

The Worst Play in Blackjack

Ignoring abnormal plays such as hitting a 19 or 20 or standing on Ace-Ace, the worst play is standing on 8,8 versus 7, rather than splitting them! You will lose about 70 cents on the dollar each time you make this play. If you stick to basic strategy you won’t have to worry about questions like this!

The Best Hands

The best hands are 21, 20, or 19 of course. However, there are a few hands that don’t look great on the surface but are some of the best to play. One hand to look out for is 11 because it puts you in quite a powerful position.

An 11 is a perfect hand to double down on because, best-case scenario, you get 21.   Other good hands include pairs, such as 9s, against a small dealer up-card.  Splitting hands is a relatively advanced strategy, but it is a very useful one if you want to improve your chances of winning.  The basic strategy of the game covers all these scenarios.

Improving Your Odds When Playing Blackjack – Five Tips for Success

BlackjackBy Joe Bakerz.

There are those largely uneducated individuals who feel that playing any type of casino or table game means effectively trusting your bets entirely to luck. They are wrong. Here are five simple tips that will help put the odds back in your favor.

Double Down When Appropriate

This should be a golden rule of any blackjack strategy. Put in simple terms, the idea here is to make hay while the sun is shining. In other words, when the odds are in your favor you should double down.  Generally, doubling down is appropriate when you have a 9 versus a small dealer card or 10 or 11 against most dealer cards.  For example, if you have 11 (a strong starting player hand) you should be ready to place more money on the table.  In cases like this, the chances are very much in your favor and these are occasions when you can’t afford to play it safe.

Split When You Get a Pair

This is another no-brainer.  Although not all pairs should be split, when basic strategy advises you to, splitting will improve your chances of a session win.  If the casino rules allow it, double down after splitting can also be highly profitable.

Quit When You Are Ahead

Do not push it. If you have done well and you start to see your pot dwindling, don’t keep pushing, be sensible. Set yourself financial boundaries both in terms of winnings and losses so that if you reach a point of no return in either direction, then you’ll know when to call it a day.

Remember, overall, you are playing for fun, and if you are losing far too much money, then chasing your losses is a fool’s game.  This is the case in all forms of gambling.

Follow an Easy to Follow Blackjack Basic Strategy

Base your bets on what the dealer is presenting to you and adjust according to the dealer’s up-card. If your dealer has a ten, then you know you’ll probably need a strong hand to beat him.  Similarly, if the dealer has a poor up-card, such as a five or six, then you should push your advantage but also clearly pay attention to what you have.

For example, you will often be standing with a poor hand when you see the dealer with a small card.  The hope here is to allow the dealer to bust (go over 21).  These type of decisions are called blackjack basic strategy.

Don’t Worry About Your Fellow Players

Remember, the object of the game is to beat the dealer.  What other players have isn’t really your concern.  The actions of other players at the table won’t affect the odds one bit.  Clearly, it may have an impact on what cards are available but remember you should be concerned about your hand and that of the dealer. You have no control over what other players do; only your own game matters.

Good luck!

Blackjack Strategies: The Advantages And Risks Of Card Counting

Blackjack FanduelBy Heather Vargas.

Winning and earning what you wagered for is the best goal you can have when participating in blackjack games. Although it may look like a game of chance, at first sight, this popular casino game is a complicated and perplexing one that reels its players in. Blackjack incorporates numerous strategies to put the players on the edge of their seats, one of which is card counting.

What Is Card Counting?

In any game, a good strategy can put players at a greater advantage. To play blackjack is no different. Card counting is a blackjack technique that gives a significant upper hand to the players with a statistical advantage. The players that count cards can determine if they have the advantage on the next hand or the dealer.

Players that determine their advantage is positive will bet higher amounts. If card counting is executed correctly, they can improve their odds in the game. Moreover, there are different card counting systems, but the most popular is the Hi-Lo or High-Low strategy. It is a simple strategy that you can undertake mentally by tallying the three groups of cards.

Method

To explain, card counting “tags” the cards. For Hi-Lo, cards 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are tagged as a plus one. So, every time you see those numbers, you would add one to your count. On the other hand, a ten or ace are tagged as minus 1. So, you reduce the amount to your running count. Meanwhile, cards 7, 8, and 9 are considered neutral and thus tagged as zero.

After the cards are dealt, you will then start the running count. The running card works by adding or subtracting one to all the cards face up. In other words, you tag every card that comes out of the shoe until the cards are shuffled.

If the running count starts to decrease and goes negative, the odds of the dealers are increasing. In contrast, if the running count has risen sufficiently, then the advantage can shift to the player.1)Of course, there are many fine points to card counting such as converting what is known as the running count to a true count,  play variations and bankroll requirements.

Keep in mind that the essence of blackjack is the bet. Now that you are aware of the possible odds, you must then move your bets in relation to them. You need to make use of the advantage that is presented to you. Bet big if the odds are in your favor and hold back if not.

Card Counting Advantages

First of all, card counting is not illegal. You can enjoy and have a good time in blackjack casino games with this strategy without the risk of being kicked out or thrown into jail. It is convenient and greatly advantageous once you master its art.

Aside from that, card counting is an excellent way to push retaliation to the casino house without intimidation or other unnecessary devices. It is a pure game of wits and tricks that you must deliberately proceed with. To further increase your efficiency, you must increase your bet.

If you are good at doing mental counting, the house will unknowingly proceed with the game, and the odds can be in your favor. Concerning this, the average house advantage is at 0.5 percent, so you will only most likely lose at least 50 cents for every hundred dollars you bet. Now, if you use card counting, you could strategically shift the odds more in your favor and lower the amounts lost.

Risk Factors of Card Counting

Card counting may not be illegal, but there are still things at stake. As long as the players do not use any devices that aid them in counting, they are clear. However, casinos have the right to deny services to people that count cards and ban players that violate them. Keep in mind that every gambling house has a different set of rules.

This now makes card counting and strategy charts risky strategies that can kick you out and, sometimes, get you listed in their database. The establishment will be warned about your presence and reduce your chance to sit at any table to play.

Moreover, although card counting can give you a long run advantage, on some days, it will seem like winning is impossible.  This is due to the variance in the game and you can expect large swings whether you are counting or not.

On the other hand, the casino is where most people socialize and have fun. If you are playing this casino game for entertainment, learning card counting might eventually decrease your excitement. You might also get lost in your counting strategy and forget to interact with other players. In the end, if your reason to play is entertainment, you lose your reason to play.

Final Thoughts

Ultimately, the best blackjack strategy is the technique that works best for you. Card counting is suitable for serious blackjack players who are looking to gain an advantage over the casino.  Regardless of the strategy, it would be best to stick to strategies that are simple to master and implement.  If your reason to play is entertainment, your best strategy is often to simply memorize blackjack basic strategy.

The Blackjack Table: What is the design of a traditional table?

Splitting Aces and Eights BlackjackBy Catalin Constantin.

Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games around, with millions of gambling enthusiasts regularly continuing to play the classic title.  You can play blackjack sessions virtually or physically.

One of the reasons this game has enjoyed the kind of interest it has from punters all around the world is due to the simplicity of the game. This can be in regard to the rules of the game, however, it could also be due to the fact that the blackjack table is also very simple to understand and use when playing, too.

Indeed, it is wise and perhaps very important to understand everything about the blackjack table before playing the game.  This can help to increase the chance of having a positive experience when sitting at the table.

With that in mind, this article will take a look at the design and layout of a traditional blackjack table. Whether you play online blackjack in NJ or you decide to head to a traditional Las Vegas-style casino, you will immediately know what to expect and how to utilize the table after reading this post!

Blackjack Table
Blackjack tables can often come in different colors and arrangements.

What does the blackjack table look like?

The first thing that many will notice when they sit at a table specifically designed for the game of blackjack is the shape. It is typically designed to be in the shape of an oval, as this will help to sit as many players in one seating, whilst also allowing the dealer to be as accessible to everyone too.

Furthermore, at the end of the table which is flat and where the dealer will typically stand, the shoe from which the cards are dealt is placed here. The shoe is rectangular, unless it is an automatic shuffler, and has the capability of holding up to eight decks.  Of course, depending on the game of blackjack being played, there may only be one or two decks being used, in which case are typically dealt by hand.

Most tables will be covered in a felt material, which will typically either be green or red, although it should not come as a surprise if the former of the two colors were spotted more often than not. Additionally, there are spaces available on the table that are designated for each player where they are able to place their bet and show the hand that they have.

Moreover, many blackjack tables will either have a card that will highlight the rules of the game, whilst some will have it printed on the table, including payouts and whether insurance bets are possible to place.  Of course, one the most important rules to look for is whether blackjack’s pay the full 3 to 2 payoff.

Where do the players and the dealer stand and sit?

We mentioned it briefly above, however it is important to understand where players and the dealer are positioned around the table.  This can enhance the overall experience and potentially make it more positive from the beginning as it will install a sense of calmness to those who have perhaps never played before, especially when they set foot in a traditional brick-and-mortar casino.

Firstly, the players will be seated or standing alongside the curved edge of the oval-shaped table, with it is possible to have up to seven players (typically) playing at any one time. Some tables will only allow five players at one time, although this is something that is different everywhere.

The dealer will then be standing on the opposite side of the table and will be facing each bettor from the flat edge. This allows them to see each player and be able to deal effectively with the shoe that has been placed next to them.

It should be noted that the player to the left of the croupier1)A croupier is just another name for the dealer and is more widely used in Europe. is known as third base, whilst the player to the right is known as the first base; perhaps an easy way to remember this is to think of the layout as being similar to a baseball field and its four bases?

Is there a right blackjack table?

You might be wondering whether there is a right blackjack table to choose from, however it is perhaps more of a question about the type of game you want to play rather than making sure the right type of table has been chosen.  In addition to any rules imprinted on the felt you will often see a sign at the edge of the table that reveals the minimum and maximum bets allowed and any other specific rules allowed such as when you can double and split, etc.

Different variants of the game will also have different options available, however a traditional blackjack table will generally have the same type of layout that we described above.
