In September of 1956, Roger Baldwin, Wilbert Cantey, Herbert Maisel and James McDermott wrote a paper titled The Optimum Strategy in Blackjack.  Published in the Journal of the American Statistical Association, it would become the foundation of all future sound efforts to beat the game of blackjack.

The event must be historically significant and accurate and/or the product (book, software, video, etc) was recommended in the Encyclopedia of Blackjack (Twenty-One). There may be a few exceptions! In any case, report your event here. so I can update the database. You can enter any combination of month, day or year.

Since 2016, over 600 historical blackjack events and gambling quotes have been entered in the database. I need your help to increase this number. If you know of a blackjack or card counting historical event that is not already listed or if you see an error, I want to hear from you.
