| GENERAL INFORMATION | Gambling is legal in Federal waters 12 miles off the West coast and 3 miles off the East coast of Florida. It generally takes longer to reach Federal waters on the West coast (1 – 1.5 hours) as it does on the East coast (maybe 30-45 minutes). You will also find quality low and mid-stakes limit poker on many of these boats. Expect a 10% rake up to $5 max and many boats have a bad beat jackpot collection. If you are prone to sea-sickness be sure you take some medicine at least 30 minutes before sailing. Some of the SunCruz casinos have opportunities for free matchplay coupons if you buy-in for $1000 at the cage. In some casinos you have to be one of their best “rated” players to get the coupons which in general is 4x$25 for each $1000 buy-in.
