  1. I think the editor’s note that betting strategies don’t work in blackjack is not true. If they didn’t, then people would not be asked to leave casinos when they bet big with positive counts.

    1. The author is talking about betting strategies that have nothing to do with the count. Betting strategies by themselves can NOT give you an advantage in this game or any casino game for that matter. Yes, if you suddenly bet big into a positive count, you may be suspected of counting cards and asked to leave.
